CIRCA 1770-1800, UNDERGLAZE BLUE PITCHFORK MARK TO FIRST AND i MARK TO SECOND
The coffee-pot of spirally-moulded form, with a pierced double-scroll handle, painted in puce camaïeu with loose bouquets below neu Brandenstein ozier-moulded borders, the domed cover with a rose bud finial (surface lacquered, possibly disguising repairs, cover with restored rim chipping, slight chipping to finial, pot with extensive restored chipping to rims, handle upper terminal possibly with replacement section, lower terminal tip a replacement); the teacup and saucer painted in puce camaïeu with bouquets and scattered sprigs (some wear to enamel on saucer, short hairline crack to rim of cup, some surface scratching)
