CIRCA 1765, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND DOT MARK ABOVE W IMPRESSED H MARK
Painted in a stippled technique in the manner of Johann Georg Loehnig with Venus and Cupid after François Boucher with attendant putti frolicking among clouds, within a gilt frond cartouche, the border moulded with feuille-de-choux and ribbons, within a gilt dentil rim (slight rubbing to gilding)
