A KLOSTER-VEILSDORF BALUSTER MONOGRAMMED COFFEE-POT AND COVER
CIRCA 1780, UNDERGLAZE BLUE CV MARK, PUCE PAINTER'S R. MARK POSSIBLY FOR ROSCHLAU
With a scroll-moulded wishbone handle and reeded and scroll-moulded spout, the domed cover with an artichoke finial, painted on each side with the initial S formed from flowers within puce foliate cartouches edged with further blooms, the plain ground and cover painted with scattered sprigs (minor scratching to enamels)
