Original black velvet, color photograph mounted on front cover, original white cloth chemise with color illustrations mounted on the inside flaps and inside panel, original cardboard slipcase and chemise with original printed paper labels (cloth chemise with scattered spotting, cardboard slipcase with light wear and light dust soiling); cloth folding case. Provenance: Ralph Gibson (b.1939), American photographer (presentation inscription on verso of front free endpaper).
INSCRIBED BY EIKOH HOSOE. AN EXCELLENT COPY AND RARE IN THIS CONDITION: "For Ralph Gibson with much respect from one artist to another Nov. 25 1982 Eikoh Hosoe." IN THE ORIGINAL CARDBOARD. First revised edition, entirely re-designed by Tadanori Yokoo, and with the photographs substantially re-sequenced.
