Banded and crossbanded overall and inlaid with interlacing strapwork, foliage, parrots and a male figure, the domed stepped top above a central cupboard door enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers and central locking mechanism, the hinged slope enclosing five drawers, flanked by two further drawers, the lower section with three long drawers, on bun feet, the interior lined with Italian marbleized paper, the reverse insciribed 37-152, with oval brass label inscribed F 2115
