The galleried top mounted with a staircase enclosing a hinged compartment above an engraved panel inscribed Dass iss vor treu, above a central door flanked by turned pilasters, enclosing a fitted interior with three drawers and a roundel to the reverse engraved with a coat-of-arms and IMP. FERD. II. VIII. SEPTEMBRIS MDCXXII. XIII. MAJUS MDCXXIII. C.P.L.D.O.C. (M W), surrounded by ten panelled drawers with plaques depicting scenes from Ovidius Metamorphose, the sides with carrying-handles shaped as fish-tailed putti, on a stand with turned columns and X-shaped stretcher, on bun feet
