Mid-to-late 19th century, blue sceptre and x, iron-red orb and monogram marks, impressed model no. 266 and red painted .1.
Emblematic of military history, modeled as a standing scantily clad muse holding an open book and a herald's trumpet, supported by the god of war, Mars, seated on a lion pelt, a bow, quiver, quill and helmet at his feet, on a circular base, named on the reverse
