Each finely painted with a bust-length portrait of a raven-haired beauty within a gilt foliate scroll surround, the reverse with a panel of faux agate, flanked by gold-ground cartouches chased with trellis and enameled with turquoise 'jewels', the interior of the cup enriched in gilt, the saucers decorated en suite
