A PAIR OF SEVRES STYLE 'JEWELED' TURQUOISE-GROUND PORTRAIT VASES AND COVERS AND A CUP, COVER AND STAND
LATE 19TH CENTURY, SPURIOUS BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS
Each oviform vase finely painted with a portrait of either Louix XVI or Marie Antoinette, the reverse with the French coat-of-arms, on a conforming socle and square base; the two-handled cup painted front and back with courting couples in the manner of Watteau, the saucer and cover painted with musical and amatory trophies within landscapes; all pieces enameled with a profusion of 'pearl' and 'ruby' jewel surrounds
