A PAIR OF SEVRES STYLE 'JEWELED' COBALT-BLUE GROUND VASES AND COVERS AND A DISH
LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY, THE DISH WITH SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARK AND INCISED 429
Each oviform vase decorated with 'ruby', 'emerald', turquoise and white 'jewel' bands and pendant floral forms, on a baluster stem raised on four beaded feet and a circular base; the lobed triangular dish finely painted with a portrait of Louis XV, named on the reverse, within a turquoise 'jewel' and chased gilt surround and further foliate scrollwork enriched with 'ruby' and white 'jewels'
