LATE 19TH CENTURY, THE MOVEMENT IMPRESSED PARICE A PARIS, V, 8, 1 AND 206
The round clockcase flanked by two seated maidens, one reading a tablet, the other holding a wreath and a flowering branch, on a cartouche shaped base set with a central panel painted with male and female gardeners at leisure, the sides with gardening trophies and bouquets, all within foliate molded surrounds, the base cast with a band of berried laurel and a panel of drapery, raised on six fluted feet
