A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED TURQUOISE OVERLAY AND OPAQUE WHITE GLASS TEN-LIGHT CHANDELIER

The corona, bowl and pendant finely enameled with tight bouquets and rich floral garlands reserved within elaborate gilt arabesque cartouches, the foliate chain with striated glass and diadem spacers suspending a vine-cast ring issuing ten S-curved arms with alternate blue and clear glass bobêche and pendant lustre drip-pans

Robert, a decorative artist at the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Sèvres (recorded in 1806-34 and 1835-43), decorated opalines at Baccarat, Saint Louis and Launay, Hautin & Cie. with floral designs in enamels as well as gold, silver and platinum from 1843-1855.
