The present watch represents number 30 in a limited series of 252 pieces produced in platinum to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the company in 2005. Similarly, 501 examples were each produced in 18k yellow, white and pink gold as well. The combined number of watches produced in all four metals is the sum of 1755, corresponding directly to the year in which Vacheron Constantin was founded.
