The cylindrical container decorated in relief with classical scenes, surmounted by a domed lid with pine-cone finial and flanked by ring-bearing lion's masks, issuing a spout with lyre-shaped tap and supported by six classically draped maidens on a hexagonal base centred by a vase-shaped reservoir
