Each with a cartouche-shaped plate centred by the figure of Ceres, surmounted by a lambrequin canopy, the cresting with three angels bearing flowers, the apron centred by a mask, the outer frame carved with foliage and C-scrolls on a punched ground, the backplate of one mirror inscribed in yellow chalk 'P3097'

A set of four girandole mirrors, closely related to the present lot, was sold anonymously, Christie's, Milan, 19 May 1998, lot 571, and a related pair of girandole mirrors featuring similar lambrequin canopies, putti and mask-adorned aprons, was sold anonymously, Blanchet, 3 December 2001, lot 74.
