The shaped top with central ribbon-tied foliate spray in a cartouche, above three drawers, the top drawer enclosing a leather-lined writing-surface and four divisions, on cabriole legs joined by an undertier inlaid 'à quatre faces', with foliate-cast sabots, stamped thrice 'JME' and twice 'MIGEON', the underside with copper inventory plaque impressed '1224'
