The waisted case with foliate mounts and decorated with flowerheads on a blue ground, glazed side panels, the front door with mount of a stag hunt with a hound, the door to the reverse stamped Francois Marie Farina and with paper inventory label inscribed 255, the dished white enamel dial with pierced brass hands, steel sweep seconds and date pointer, the movement with square plates joined by four baluster back-pinned pillars, twin barrels with silk suspension, pull wind quarter repeat, pierced countwheel and quarter wheel to the backplate, hour, half hour and quarter strike on four bells via four hammers, the wall bracket conformingly decorated and with a separate side wound chain fusee musical movement, playing six tunes on twelve bells via twenty-five hammers and 23 cm. long pinned wooden barrel; pendulum, winding key
