The foliate engraved silvered dial with regulation ring and strike/silent ring above the Roman chapter ring, blued steel moon hands, signed James McCabe/ROYAL EXCHANGE/LONDON/3357, the massive triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, chiming the quarters on eight bells via 5 cm. long pinned brass barrel and striking the hours, half hours and quarters on a further gong, with repeat signature on the back plate, with pendulum hold fast, on pierced wall bracket; pendulum, door key, winding key
