A GROUP OF NEOLITHIC STONE, FLAKED FLINT AND BONE AXE, ARROW-HEADS AND IMPLEMENTS

Comprising a small polished stone axe-head mounted in an antler sleeve; two others similar, 4 5/8 in. (11.8 cm.) long max.; a bone tool of square section, tapered to a point at each end, with incised zigzag pattern along each facet, 4¼ in. (10.6 cm.) long; a bone point, 2½ in. (6.5 cm.) long; seven other polished stone axe-heads, 1¾ to 4 7/8 in. (4.5 to 12.5 cm.) long; a polished dark grey stone chisel of D-section, tapered towards the cutting edge, 3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) long; and six flaked flint arrow-heads, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) long max. (19)
