TWO ROMANO-EGYPTIAN OR PARTHIAN BRONZE ALTARS
2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
Each of similar form, on short cylindrical pedestal resting on square base with four low feet, the square dish with flaring triangular corners with knob terminals, 4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high; a hanging bronze oil lamp with long tubular nozzle and raised circular neck, three suspension loops around the body with attached link chain and long iron pin, lamp 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) long; a bronze lamp on tripod claw feet, with twin nozzles at either side of circular open body, 4¾ in. (12 cm.) across max.; and a bronze conical pendant staff with three suspended links each with heavy knob terminal, 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) long, all circa 1st-5th Century A.D. (5)
