FOUR ROMAN GLASS VESSELS
1ST-6TH CENTURY A.D.
Comprising a pale green carafe of tall slender form with faint vertical ribs, on conical foot, with a single applied trail around the funnel neck, 4th-6th Century A.D., 10 5/8 in. (27 cm.) high; a pale blue carafe of bulbous form, on ring base, with two applied trails at base of tall funnel neck, 3rd-5th Century A.D., 7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) high; an iridescent pale blue beaker, the cylindrical body with protruding fold around the base and flaring rim, 1st-2nd Century A.D., 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high; and a large green dish, the base with faint traces of radiating ribs, with short vertical sides, circa 1st-4th Century A.D., 8 5/8 in. (21.8 cm.) diam. (4)
