CIRCA 1ST CENTURY A.D.
The arched handle in the form of a figure of Pan and a rearing goat in headlock, Pan with his hands clasped behind his back and his left leg advanced, the attachment plate below with the bearded mask of Pan, with twisted horns, foliate wreath and traces of silver inlaid eyes, flanked by volute scrolls
