AN EGYPTIAN LIMESTONE SQUAT JAR
DYNASTY I-II, CIRCA 3100-2900 B.C.
Of broad tapered form with flat shoulder and everted rim; and a red burnished pottery flask, of slender piriform shape, the body tapered to small circular base, the neck with flared rounded rim, First-Second Intermediate Period, 2134-1520 B.C.
4½ in. (11.5 cm.) diam. and 9 5/8 in. (24.5 cm.) high respectively (2)
