This was possibly part of a composite table of model funerary offerings, the attachment holes used to secure the whole ensemble, cf. J. Bourriau, Pharaohs and Mortals, Cambridge, 1988, p. 102, no. 87, for model funerary offerings from Lisht, Abydos, Hawara and other sites, dated to the Middle Kingdom/Second Intermediate Period.
