A MING POTTERY EWER WITH SAFAVID BRASS MOUNTS, 16TH AND 17TH CENTURY
Of low globular form on a high foot, the porcelein base decorated with lotus flowers and vines in cobalt blue, the mounts inscribed and decorated with floriated vines and inscriptions in fine naskh script, the domed lid rising to a turquoise faceted pointed finial - 12 1/2in (31.7cm)
