Ce mural de poisson fossile se présente comme un aquarium pétrifié présentant un banc de 38 Knightia, ancêtres de nos harengs modernes, entourant un large Diplomystus, poisson qui semble lié au Knightia. La bouche des Diplomystus apparaît particulièrement bien conçue pour que se poisson se nourrisse de petites proies et de végétaux près de la surface. Il s'agit d'un cliché instantané d'un instant qui s'est déroulé il y a maintenant 50 millions d'années.
