2° (355 x 220mm). Engraved frontispiece, and 100 engraved plates by Kirkall, van der Gucht, Harris and others after Stukeley, metalcut ornamental head- and tailpieces, factotum initials. (Small tear in title without loss, plates lightly browned, last plate with light crease.) Contemporary mottled calf, gilt arms of Stukeley at centre, red sprinkled edges (mottling somewhat worn, rebacked and recornered). Provenance: William Stukeley (binding).
