(idria) The large globular pale blue ground body decorated with coiled green foliage, orange yellow fruit and green bunches of grapes, all outlined in blue with wide ear handles, one painted with an ostrich above the caption inscribed in Gothic aqua di Farfara and indistinctly dated, the other inscribed in gothic aqua di piantagine and 1570 or 1579 (one handle repaired)

This class of globular vases may be linked to Domenigo da Venezia. Imitations of this class appear in Sicily and Calabria at a somewhat later date
