CIRCA 1590-1600, URBINO OR DERUTA
The centre painted with grotteschi including two winged archers, two crows or ravens and other birds and fabulous beasts, the well with a band of blue, yellow and ochre ropetwist ornament between yellow and ochre bands, the border with further grotteschi within a yellow and ochre ropetwist border (rim chip at 10 o'clock and very slight chipping and flaking to glaze, reverse with chip to body)
