The circular tureen applied at each side with disc-shaped handles supported on short stems with small circular apertures on the outer faces, the shallow domed cover gently sloping at the centre to support the bold compressed spherical finial, the sides and cover painted on each side with a composite floral and fruiting spray, including peony, lotus, chrysanthemum, orchid, peach blossom and pomegranate, the design highlighted in gilt
