Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1955 and its subsequent sale on 10 September 1953, original fitted brown leather presentation box.

Purchased by the father of the present owner, it has never been offered in public before.

Reference 2508 was launched in 1951 and in production until around 1960. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 2nd edition, p. 204, pl. 328.
