Accompanied by Patek Philippe Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie and original envelope. Furthermore delivered with the Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture of the present watch with raised gold hour markers and tachometer scale in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 7 December 1951.
Reference 1463 is the only vintage Patek Philippe chronograph model with screw back case and round pushers. Often worn by their original owners and consequently regularly serviced and polished, many examples of this iconic and noble sports watch have not survived without visible traces of use. Consequently, references 1463 like the present watch in near unused condition are exceedingly rare. Especially the edges of its bezel and angled lugs are incredibly well-preserved and impress any beholder with its beautiful and rich case proportions.
This watch is one of the most attractive reference 1463 models to be offered in public in recent years. Its desirability resides in the exclusive combination of the pink gold case and the highly attractive pink dial, further enhanced by the extremely well-preserved, original condition and the original certificate. According to research, no more than 3 examples of pink gold references 1463 fitted with pink dials and still retaining the original certificate have been offered in public to date.
Reference 1463 was launched in 1940 and remained in production until 1965.
