A.H. Rodanet is best known as Patek Philippe's retailer in Paris during the second half of the 19th century.
Most probably the son of the watch and chronometer maker Julien-Hilaire Rodanet, he is listed in Tardy's Dictionnaire des Horlogers Français, p. 567 as active in Paris. Exhibitor of watches made in Geneva as well as some of his father's chronometers in 1867, he opened his workshop at Rue Vivienne in 1870. After his death in 1907, the firm continued under varying management until the 1950s.
