The pair decorated in blau und purpurmalerei with a central flower medallion surrounded by a border of alternating flowering branches, cartouches of trellis and whorling clouds supporting castle-like edifices; the single teabowl and saucer painted in the Chinoiserie taste with a bird perched among flowering branches and blue rockwork
