A VIENNA (DU PAQUIER) CHINOISERIE TEABOWL AND SAUCER
Circa 1735
Charmingly painted with ducklings in a landscape and in flight amidst tall flowering chrysanthemum, the interior rim of the teabowl with a band of alternate green fretwork and pink seeded panels separated by single flowers within an oval reserve, the bottom of the bowl with a duck in flight, the saucer border with a continuous pink fretwork band punctuated with half flower-heads, the underside with three iron-red flowers
