CIRCA 1825
Each body cast with classical amorous mythological scenes, one depicting a River god and a Nymph, within a wooded and leafy landscape, the flared rim cast with stylized lotus, antheminon and beading, the swollen lobed lower body cast with acanthus and palmette and with satyr's head masks to each side, on a waised fluted socle with berried laurel foot, each raised on a rectangular plinth mounted with stylized foliate wreaths, above a anthemion-cast edge and square base, one with paper label to the underside with blue border inscribed in ink in 19th-century hand '6461', one impressed 'V' to interior socle
