Lot Essay

As an example of progressive technologically inspired European design, the sunball chair, pays stylistic homage to the space race and underlines the blurring of distinctions between the indoors and the outdoors. Created specifically for outdoor use, the sunball chair is understood to have been produced in less than 30 examples.
