Second French edition of Morton's Memoir on Ether. This is the official history of the ether controversy published under the auspices of the Massachusetts General Hospital. It was prepared by Richard Dana and published simultaneously in English and French. This copy appears to be a different issue from that listed in Fulton and Stanton with slightly different collation (available on request). cf.Fulton and Stanton IV.24; Norman 1557.
