Contemporary vellum, leather lettering piece to spine, marbled edges (boards a little warped, spine a little rubbed at head and tail, lower cover lightly scuffed). Provenance: Radcliffe Library (bookplate with duplicate stamp). FIRST EDITION OF THIS RARE WORK with an address to William Sherard, owner of the celebrated garden at Eltham (see lots 329 and 346).
