At the end has been bound-in a contemporary copy of a 2-page letter from M[ary?] Trevor, in 'a Fort near Cabool' to 'My Dear Worrall', recounting all the tribulations of imprisonment with her 'eight fatherless children' by the Afghans, having also just given birth, and complaining that 'so entirely alone do I feel in this world, that I can scarcely believe there is a soul in the world who even thinks of me'. Sold as an extra-illustrated book, not subject to return.
