The pagoda top hood with brass-capped outset stop fluted columns, the rectangular arch top trunk door with moulded frame and flanked by stop fluted quarter columns, 12in. wide dial with foliate and urn spandrels, Roman and Arabic engraved and silvered chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, subsidiary seconds and date square to the matted centre, signed 'John Cole/EPSOM' on roundal to arch, cut steel hands, the five pillars movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell; pendulum, two weights, crank key, case key
