A Scottish mahogany and brass-mounted quarter-chiming eight day table clock
Dial signed Reid, Edinburgh, circa 1800, movement and case probably second half 19th century
The case with tracery arch sound frets to sides and engraved frets to front, the white enamel dial signed 'REID/EDINBURGH', triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, hour strike on gong and quarter chimes on a nest of bells (lacking), the back plate inscribed 'Thomas Reid/Edinburgh/1804'
