Lot Essay
Peter Arendzen was a Dutch artist and engraver who settled in Britain having travelled from his native Holland in order to make copies of Dutch Old Master paintings in British Royal collections, and has architectural drawings in the collection of the Rijksmuseum. Among his family's own collections were objects believed to have been bought at the Paris Exhibitions.
