A Louis XIV white-metal mounted ebonised striking religieuse table clock

The case applied with foliate cast mounts to the front door and applied below on the base moulding, glazed sides, the top applied with a similarly cast mount with two winged putti supporting a laurel-framed vacant cartouche, the 9in. wide velvet-covered dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, later hands, signed 'Jaques Le Camus/A Paris' within a silvered cartouche, the four vase-shaped pillar movement with conforming signature, later anchor escapement, numbered outside countwheel strike on bell; pendulum, two winding keys
