The case with porcelain side panels painted with birds and musical instruments with gilt-heightened and jewelled borders on a Sèvres style turquoise blue ground, with plain gilt rear door, the conforming dial painted with a scene of two lovers below a gilt chapter ring with individual Roman reserves, the twin barrels movement with Brocot escapement and strike on bell; pendulum, winding key
