The ormolu- and gilt-metal-mounted green-painted case with circular glazed enamel dial with roman and arabic numerals, the twin-going barrel movement with verge escapement striking on two bells above, the cartouche-shaped case painted with flower-sprays, headed by ribbon-tied swags of laurel, with waved apron centred by acanthus, on scrolled feet with blocks, the bracket with conforming decoration, with foliate scrolled boss
