A GLOUCESTERSHIRE OAK AND PARCEL GILT ARMCHAIR
EARLY 17TH CENTURY
With foliate and scroll carved arcaded panelled back, flanked by figures and outer scroll ears, all below a crest rail of a pair of dragon like creatures, flanking an oval with initials 'CW', each arm support also initialled 'CW', the frieze rails to the seat with cable decoration
44 in. (112 cm.) high; 23 in. (58 cm.) wide; the seat 15 in. (38 cm.) deep; 18½ in. (47 cm.) high
