A pair of late Ming blue and white saucer dishes, kosumetsuke and a shallow bowl
Late 17th Century
The saucer dishes with shallow, rounded sides and metal-edged rims, painted to the central roundel with a musician playing a lute seated on a stool, the exterior decorated with cloud-scrolls within line borders, the base with seal mark, 14.6 cm. diam.; and a small bowl decorated to the exterior with 'trigrams' among fire scrolls, the interior with a yinyang symbol within a double-line border, 11.3 cm. diam.
