A longquan celadon tripod censer
Yuan/early Ming dynasty
The compressed body raised on three lion-mask and paw supports and carved around the sides with the 'Eight Trigrams' between narrow bands of spaced floral bosses above and below, covered overall with a glaze of sea-green tone, except for an area in the center of the interior which was left in the biscuit and impressed with a trellis pattern flower-head, the base burnt orange in the firing
