The overhanging lid decorated on a nashiji ground in gold and silver hiramki-e and takamaki-e with four birds forming roundels with their wings among scattered branches of flowering cherry blossom, the sides applied with two kiku-head ring handles for the tassels, the interior lined with paper, minor damage
